Nicos is the Managing Partner of Tassos Papadopoulos & Associates LLC and arbitrator trainer of ETEK. He has acted as a Secretary of the Cyprus Bar Association, Vice President of the Cyprus Bar Association and was elected President of the Cyprus Bar Association for the period 2000-2006 and the European Bar Association (2000-2006) and President of the Association of Balkan Bar Associations (2004-2006). He has dealt with a wide range of legal fields and in particular with the representation of public bodies, with the drafting of legislation, international transactions, consortia and corporate entities, mergers, building and mechanical law, public procurement, labor law, civil law, commercial law, insurance law, public and administrative law, court proceedings and arbitrations, he is also an arbitrator.
Stavros is the Managing Director of the law firm Patrikios Pavlou & Associates LLC and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He studied Economics at LSE and Law at City University in London and holds the title of Barrister from Gray’s Inn. He has over 30 years of experience and knowledge in complex issues of arbitration of local and international commercial disputes.
Evripides is a Lawyer and the founder of the Cyprus Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is a certified HRDA Trainer and a Certified Mediator Trainer. After completing his LLB Law degree at the Queen Mary University of London in 2009, he then completed a post-graduate diploma in Company Law LLM, at University College in London. He graduated with Distinction. In 2016, Evripides published the book «The Law on the Sale of Goods and Consumer Protection in Cyprus», which was published by Nomiki Vivliothiki and has headed the team responsible for drafting the Consumer Protection Law 2021 in Cyprus. He has taught and is currently teaching extensively on commercial and consumer law matters at the European University Cyprus. He has been quoted and cited in legal textbooks in the UK and recently in a judgement in Cyprus.
Agis Georgiades is a lawyer and teaches at the Law School of the University of Nicosia. He has many years of experience in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution and is the first Cypriot to be appointed a member of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA Court), which is one of the leading arbitration forums in international disputes worldwide.
Nicolas is a lawyer, a partner in a large law firm based in Nicosia. He is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Kyrenia Bar Association. He obtained a Law Degree (LLB) in 2008 and a master’s degree (LLM) in International Law with Distinction in 2009 from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. He graduated from the Bar Vocational Course at the College of Law of England and Wales (London Bloomsbury) and was named Barrister-at-Law by the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple in 2010. Until 2013, he has been working as a collaborator of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic in the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Cyprus in the EU in Brussels, where he was responsible for the relations of the Republic of Cyprus with the European Parliament. He deals with commercial, corporate and construction law as well as contract law, competition law and represents parties in court and arbitration proceedings. He is a member of the Committee of the Kyrenia Bar Association, the Arbitration and Mediation Committee and the Committee on International and European Law of the Cyprus Bar Association, the International Bar Association, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London and is a member of the Commonwealth Investment Council.
Kyriakos is a lawyer, partner and head of the litigation department of George Yiangou LLC. He has experience in registering and enforcing international and arbitral awards and has represented clients in arbitration cases and has also been appointed as an arbitrator in others. From 2009 to 2020 Mr. Theodorides was treasurer of the Cyprus Bar Association. He is also a member of the International Bar Association, the Council of Bars and the Law Societies of Europe and IAG.
Dimitris is highly regarded for his excellent experience in commercial and corporate disputes. He has been invited as a researcher to Washington, D.C., by the Federal Judicial Center and his dissertation specializes in Federal Constitutional Law and has since been recognized for his academic and teaching achievements. He has trained regularly in various recognized institutions. Dimitris was for 11 years an examiner of the Legal Council in Contract Law and Commercial Law. He has also served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Stock Exchange (2004 - 2010). Dimitris is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and acts as an arbitrator in commercial disputes. He is a lawyer at the Gray's Inn (London). Dimitris has also been an Insolvency Practitioner since 2016.
Andreas is the co-founder and managing director of Ioannidis Demetriou LLC and chairman of the Arbitration and Mediation Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. He is the first Cypriot Chartered Arbitrator and one of two Cypriots with this accreditation. He is also an accredited mediator. He provides legal and dispute resolution services to clients worldwide and advises many international and domestic companies including foreign and domestic government agencies and some of the country's largest commercial and construction companies. He has a rich background as a lawyer before the courts and has represented the Republic of Cyprus abroad as well as the United Kingdom and other foreign countries. He is regularly called as an expert on Cypriot law in proceedings before foreign courts.
Arbitrators
Antonis Glykis is a lawyer and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 1993. He has been the elected Secretary of the Cyprus Bar Association for the past 12 years and a member of the Legal Council. His main areas of practice are litigation and in particular, general commercial, civil and criminal law. He is the author of books and articles of legal and other content and is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) as well as an honorary member of the Association of Fellows of Legal Scholars of the Center for International Legal Studies.
Charis studied law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) where he was was awarded an LL.B degree. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2010 and is a member of the Famagusta Bar Association. Charis is an Accredited Mediator of civil and commercial disputes. He has served as a member of the shipping committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. Currently he is a member of the Arbitration and Mediation Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. Charis acted as a managing director of the law firm A. & Ch. Boyiadjis LLC (2010-2014) which was founded by his father in 1968 in Famagusta. He then joined the law firm Symeou & Konnaris LLC as a senior associate (2014-2019) until he joined Nicos Chr. Anastasiades & Partners LLC as the Head of the Litigation Department. Charis specializes in Banking law, commercial law, family law, property law, rent control law, torts, employment law and intellectual property law. He appears in all kind of Court procedures and cases in Cyprus District Courts and has also a considerable experience in drafting commercial agreements, providing specialized legal advice. He is fluent in both English and Greek.
Maria is a lawyer. She holds a law degree (Law LL.B) from the University of Central Lancashire and a postgraduate degree in International Commercial and Business Law from the University of Manchester. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and holds a Diploma in International Arbitration. She has worked as a lawyer in Cyprus, Dubai and Oman. Maria deals mainly with issues of corporate, commercial, labor, and construction law. She has many years of experience in arbitration, mainly in matters of construction law.
Panagiotis is a Civil Engineering and graduate of the University of Wales in 1991 and is the owner of a project management office based in Limassol. He has gained long-term professional experience in Cyprus, Greece and the Middle East in project management, design, study, supervision, construction and operation of various large-scale projects such as Marinas, Hotels, High-rise Buildings, Golf Courses, Museums, Theaters as well as commercial and residential complexes. As an Independent Engineer and Project Manager, he gained professional experience in alternative dispute resolution methods. He is a member of the Cyprus Scientific-Technical Chamber ETEK, a member of the Cyprus Association of Civil Engineers SPOLMIK, a member of the PMI Project Management Institute and a member of various other international professional organizations.
Marianna is a lawyer and works as a Legal Advisor in a consulting company that specializes in Competition Economics. She is a graduate of the University of Cyprus (LLB Law) and of the Queen Mary University of London (LLM E.U. Competition Law). She has worked as a trainee in the European Parliament in Brussels, particularly in the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee. She then worked for a law firm in Brussels and was mainly engaged with lobbying in the institutions of the European Union. She participated in the writing of a chapter in a book (under review) regarding competition law cases in Cyprus.
Christiana is a graduate of the University of Cyprus since 2013 and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2015. She has practiced law for more than five years, during which time she has handled cases and studied legislation extensively in various fields of law. Through the obtaining of a postgraduate diploma in European Union Law, she has acquired specialized knowledge in matters of European Law, which include Consumer Law. She is currently working for the Cyprus Arbitration & Mediation Center "C.A.M.C."
Rita Olympiou graduated in 2009 from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a Law Degree. She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2011. She works at a Law Firm as a Manager in the Litigation Department. Rita’s main areas of practice include civil, administrative litigation, banking, business law, insolvency, immigration law, family law, EU law and children’s rights.
Marianna holds a Law Degree from the University of Sussex as well as a Master's Degree in International Commercial Law with a scholarship from the University of Sussex. She is a registered member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2019. She deals with Civil, Commercial, Family law cases etc. She speaks fluent Greek, English and Spanish.
Giannis is a lawyer and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Nicosia Bar Association since 2009. He holds a law degree from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens with a "Very Good" degree as well as a postgraduate Degree in law in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary College. He worked as a lawyer in the litigation departments of two large law firms in Cyprus and since 2019 he is the CEO of a law firm. Giannis has significant experience in a wide range of fields of law and specialises mainly in international commercial law, international transactions, company law, consumer law, banking law, civil law, intellectual property law and labor law.
Andreas is a lawyer qualified in Greece and Cyprus. Andreas has earned an LLB from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2009. In 2010 he obtained an LLM in Tax Law from Queen Mary College, University of London and in 2012 he obtained his second LLM in Administrative and Constitutional Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Before coming to Cyprus, Andreas worked for a leading law firm in Athens as a lawyer and the Tax Department of one of the largest international professional services networks, where he acquired significant experience in advising clients on cross-border transactions. After his return to Cyprus, Andreas joined one of the largest law firms in Nicosia. In September 2019, Andreas joined Y. Karamanolis & Associates LLC as a Director. Andreas has significant experience in complex banking issues, multifaceted commercial and corporate disputes and contentious matters of construction law.
Archimedes is an active lawyer in Cyprus. He is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2018. He graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2016 and after completing his degree he studied for his LLM at Cardiff University where he obtained a master's degree in Maritime Law. He focuses mainly on banking disputes and represents national and foreign banking and financial institutions before the Courts in Cyprus, providing them with advice on court and out-of-court disputes as well as legislation and regulations at both national and European Level. He is also involved in advising on matters relating to debt financing, debt recovery and procedural measures to enforce court judgements. Chrysanthi Epifaniou is a lawyer and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2015. She holds a law degree from the University of Cyprus and a postgraduate law degree from University College London. She is an accredited mediator by the Ministry of Justice and her main areas of expertise are court cases with significant experience in labor, commercial, corporate, banking, financial law, and civil law.
George P. Kyprianidis is a lawyer and holds the title of Barrister-at-law of the Inner Temple in London. He is a graduate of the University of Reading in the United Kingdom with a law degree LLB (Hons) and a postgraduate LLM with Distinction in International Commercial Law. He also holds an LLM in Legal Practice from the University of Law in London. He has authored 2 law books in the field of European Competition & Mergers and 1 book in Criminal Law. He has also written several articles in the field of Competition published by Sweet and Maxwell. Ηe is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London and member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
Costas is a lawyer and CEO of a law firm in Cyprus. He is a graduate of the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, UK (LLB (Hons) & LLM in Commercial Law). Since 2011 he holds a license to practice law from the Cyprus Bar Association. He is an experienced lawyer specializing in Banking, Civil, Commercial, Corporate and Labor Law cases.
Soto qualified as a solicitor with Lewis Moore & Co in London in 1999 having started his legal career at Poles, Tublin Patestides & Stratakis in New York. He then went on to practice with Jackson Parton and Norton Rose, before founding the Skinitis Maritime Law firm in May 2006. He has lectured on Marine Litigation and Ship Finance Law at the Business College of Athens. Soto remains focused on litigation, particularly in the fields of corporate and international trade disputes. He also regularly consults for the banking sector on financing disputes in the shipping and aviation sector. His main area of expertise relates to disputes with common trade agreements, asset sale and purchase, corporate loans, injunctions, and bank finance, as well as disputes regarding various instruments of international transactions, i.e Letters of Credit His extensive legal knowledge is complemented by a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of international trade following his time gained serving in the Greek merchant navy. Soto is fluent in English and Greek, and has a good command of French.”

Ermina studied Law at the University of London and obtained her LLB with honors in 2017. She also holds a degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Office Management. Ermina specialises in a number of areas, such as property law, banking law, family law and other civil cases. She is also an experienced negotiator and has settled many out-of-court cases in favor of the party she represented. Xenia Makridou registered as a lawyer in Cyprus in 2021. She is a law graduate of King’s College London, with a Master in Corporate & Commercial Law from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE). Xanthia is a lawyer in a law firm. Despina is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since 2010. After her studies she returned to Cyprus where she completed her internship. She is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2011. She practices law with many years of experience in litigation in the Supreme Court. She deals extensively with court cases (Administrative Law, Maritime Court, Litigation, Family Disputes, Criminal Law, Rent Control, Labor Disputes, Corporate Law etc.), drafting and perusing contracts, registering companies in Cyprus and overseas and also registering national and international trademarks and patents. She obtained the first ever order granted by Cypriot Courts for the investigation of the Company’s affairs by inspectors appointed by the Council of Ministers. She also represents parties in complex international commercial arbitration cases. Furthermore, she represents parties in the courts related to injunctions in aid of foreign arbitration proceedings, freezing orders, norwich pharmacal orders, anton piller orders and chambra orders. She has extensive experience in private international law, the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards as well as foreign insolvency proceedings. She has applied and obtained a stay of multi-million court proceedings which started in breach of international commercial arbitration agreements. She applied successfully for the discharge of a freezing order of a multi-million property obtained under Cyprus’ national money laundering legislation as it was anticipated that the property would be subject to a confiscation order. Additionally, she is responsible for the GDPR compliance of organisations and she is an instructor of GDPR training sessions for staff and managers of organizations.
Mrs Pavlou is a lawyer and legal advisor. She has been (and continues to be) a legal advisor to various bodies such as banking institutions, organisations and Community Councils and her experience extends to: labor disputes, banking and financial disputes, family as well as criminal matters. She holds a law degree from the Democritus University of Thrace and is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2011. Christina is a banker and has been working in the banking sector since 1994. She holds an AIB from the American Bankers Association, a degree from European University, a postgraduate degree from Kingston University and since 2016 holds a PhD from Northcentral University specializing in HRM. At the beginning of 2021 she was appointed as an administrative member of the CYHRMA association. Her professional experience and knowledge enabled her to acquire skills of communication, problem solving, improving human relationships, organization and negotiation. She has successfully completed the training program from the Cyprus Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution and is registered in the Register of Mediators as an accredited Mediator.
Christiana Constantinou is an active lawyer - member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2011. She is a graduate of the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA). She maintains a law firm based in Paphos which deals with Court cases such as civil law, labor disputes, family, inheritance, criminal law but also with out-of-court legal work such as contracts, corporate, immigration law and real estate law.
Valeria is a graduate of the Law Department (LLB) of the European University of Cyprus and has obtained a Master's Degree (LLM) specializing in International Commercial Law from the European University of Cyprus. She has been a registered lawyer since 2015 and works as a legal advisor in a Group of Companies. She speaks fluent Greek, English, Russian and has a very good knowledge of Turkish and German.
Marios Papadopoulos is a lawyer and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Paphos Bar Association since 2019. Aimilia Efstathiou graduated with a law degree with first class honours from the University of Cyprus in 2014. In 2015 Aimilia obtained her LLM with specialization in Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge, UK, and she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2016. Aimilia is a practicing lawyer employed by one of the largest law firms in Cyprus and she is experienced in general litigation cases, with a focus on high-value commercial disputes.
